Rules of entry

1. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, over the age of 18, who must always remain within the building. Arthur’s Play Space does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children.
2. Our play space is designed for children 0-6 years old. However, we understand that many of you will have older siblings so we just ask that the older children are respectful to our play equipment and the younger users. These rules are in place for the safety and enjoyment of all children. 
3. Children must wash their hands or use the hand sanitisers provided, before and after use of the play areas
4. Shoes must be removed in the indoor play space. This helps eliminate germs.
5. No food or drink is allowed past the white fence where the play space is.
6. No indoor toys allowed outdoors and vice versa.
7. No sharp objects are permitted in the play area.
8. Parents/guardians are responsible for the behaviour and well-being of the children in their care and must always maintain supervision. Parents/guardians must observe their children to ensure that they can use the equipment safely. Explain these rules of play to the children and monitor their behaviour.
9. Children that are clearly unwell must not enter the play areas and may unfortunately be asked to leave the cafe.
10. Fighting, bullying, abusive, aggressive, or any type of behaviour deemed to be unsuitable towards Arthur’s Play Space Staff, management, or other members of the public, from either children or adults, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Management reserve the right to enforce total bans.
11. Report all accidents to a member of staff, to ensure that we can provide any necessary assistance and minimise the potential of reoccurrence. These will be logged and are an important part of ongoing safety audits.
12. Nappy changing and the use of potties should only be conducted in the toilet and baby changing area. 
13. Please report any damage to property or resources to a member of staff.
14. Please report all spillages, incidents, or accidents to a member of staff to ensure that we can provide any necessary assistance.
15. We ask that parent/guardians do not bring in their own food due to allergies.

Parents and Guardians should note that whilst every consideration has been given for the safety of children using the play café, we cannot be held responsible for accidents, which occur because of children playing on the equipment or with our resources.
